2021 NFL Draft: Where each Heisman finalist could land
Who will pick Trevor Lawrence in the 2021 NFL Draft?
This is the easiest to answer. While we don’t for sure know who the team will be drafting Trevor Lawrence, we know it’ll be one of two teams and that’ll be whoever is fortunate enough to land the No. 1 pick. As of now, it’s the Jaguars, but that’s after the Jets held the top spot for the majority of the season.

- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Anthony Richardson putting jaw-dropping talent on display immediately
- Denver Broncos’ stud wide receiver might be out for a while

The Jets are probably the better destination for Lawrence, but if the 2020 season ended right now, he’d be taking his talents to Jacksonville. The Jags are riding a 13-game losing streak and could lose out on the year. If they do, Lawrence is theirs for likely the next decade.
Who will pick DeVonta Smith in the 2021 NFL Draft?
The 2021 draft class is going to have quite the group of wide receivers on the board and that includes DeVonta Smith, who has been tremendous during his four years at Alabama. He finished his senior campaign with 1,511 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns, which obviously was Heisman Trophy-worthy.
It’s hard for a wide receiver to win the prestigious award, but Smith certainly has a shot. If he does so, that could make him the top wideout selected in the 2021 NFL Draft. It’d be cool to see him land with the Dolphins (they hold the Texans’ No. 6 overall pick), as Smith caught passes from Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama.
Some other teams that could be vying for Smith’s services who hold top 15 picks are the Panthers, Eagles, Giants, 49ers, and Patriots. He’ll definitely be one of the first receivers off the board.
