Buffalo Bills perfect 2021 NFL Draft fit No. 3: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

If the Bills want to take the next step to greatness having a defense that shows up in big games matters. Improving the linebacker core should be at the top of the list. The Bills are going to take a hit when linebacker Matt Milano hits the open market. He’s an underrated backer who helped the Bills tremendously in 2019. His 2020 season ended early due to injury.

Even if Milano returns, the Bills could beef up their linebacker core. AJ Klein took over for the injured Milano, he was inconsistent at best. Dylan Moses is exactly the type of linebacker the Bills need. He’s a plug-and-play backer who’d make for an excellent running mate for Tremaine Edmunds.

Like Edmunds, Moses possesses excellent athletic traits. He’s a space-eater who flows to the ball and gets to the sideline with quickness. He does a fantastic job chasing backs down making plays  with powerful, tone-setting hits.

He has a great first step and does a great job when asked to blitz. Moses has solid instincts and slips past the interior lineman. Thanks to his athletic gifts, he offers potential in terms of coverage. The core of Moses, Edmunds and Milano gives the Bills one of the best linebacker corps in the AFC.
