3. Buffalo Bills

The fact that the Buffalo Bills defense has remained one of the better units in the league over the past few years is kind of remarkable when you consider what they’ve done with their secondary. Yes, they have an undeniable star in Tre’Davious White but it’s been a revolving door for the most part around him in the cornerback room.

Levi Wallace has been a fixture in the corner rotation but has never proved he deserves to secure the CB2 job outright. That’s why we saw guys like Josh Norman in the fold last season. But there really aren’t a ton of players in that ilk around White coming into the 2021 campaign, which could be a concern for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations.

Bringing in C.J. Henderson would be extremely beneficial to the Bills now and for the long haul. He would come in and immediately be the most talented cornerback on the roster outside of White, which is something they need.

Buffalo’s defense has never been elite but they have been well above average since Sean McDermott took over as head coach. That might be in more danger than it’s been before coming into this year, though, so perhaps Henderson is the piece that improves the outlook.
