Quarterly MVP odds: +1200 Dak Prescott

We’ll admit, we had no idea what to expect from Dak Prescott coming into this season. But, in all fairness, most of the football world had no idea either. The last time Prescott was seen on a field in live game action, he was getting carted off it. Not only did his gruesome ankle injury leave many wondering if he could move as well in the past, but a nagging should injury to start the year made things even worse.

At this point, every single question surrounding Prescott has been answered. The normally average Dallas Cowboys hold a record of 3-1 and their man behind center is the main reason why. He currently holds the second-best completion percentage in the league at 75.2%, putting to bed any questions about his accuracy.

Prescott is only 13th in passing yards with 1,066 but he’s feeding the ball to running backs Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard a lot more than in years past. So while he isn’t on a record-setting pace like last season, the Cowboys are winning a ton more games.

If bettors are interested in taking a swing in the dark on a huge underdog, Prescott might be your man.
