Titans: 3 dream trade deadline targets to help Super Bowl push

2. Bryce Callahan, CB, Broncos

Even after potentially trading for Xavien Howard, I don’t think Tennessee should stop there when it comes to the cornerback position.

If the Titans can acquire a playmaker like Howard on the outside, I think they should then set their sights on an elite slot corner like Bryce Callahan of the Denver Broncos.

Callahan has been outstanding for the Broncos over the last two seasons and if Denver loses to Washington on Sunday, they could be sellers at the trade deadline.

If the Broncos are sellers at the deadline, it would make sense for them to move Callahan.

He’s in the final year of a three-year contract he signed in the 2019 offseason, and the Broncos have a number of younger players they could insert into his spot, namely Essang Bassey and Duke Dawson who are slated to come off the PUP in the near future.

Even if the Titans were only able to acquire Callahan, he would be a substantial boost to their secondary. He’s been able to lock down that nickel spot despite dealing with a foot injury since he was a member of the Chicago Bears.
