The Buffalo Bills had a game in Jacksonville on Sunday, but apparently, no one told them. Or maybe no one told them the start time. Either way, the entire team was M.I.A. as they were facing a team with just one win on the season and ended up scoring just six points.

Defensively, they held the Jaguars to nine but that doesn’t matter when the offense is as anemic as this one was one of the worst performances in the past couple of seasons out of their offense.

Josh Allen, who had been on fire in terms of touchdown-to-turnover ratio, never got into the end zone while committing three turnovers — two interceptions and one fumble. He had little help as the running backs combined for just 22 yards. Allen did have 50 while also throwing for 264 yards but in the end, his turnovers doomed them.

Buffalo fell to 5-3 but what’s more concerning is the fact that they have lost two of their past three games. They are also quickly seeing the New England Patriots catch up to them as they’re now just a half-game behind them at 5-4.

The two teams don’t play again until the day after Christmas but suddenly, that looks like it could be a very important game.
