Does it ever feel like the Baltimore Ravens are just toying with their opponents?

Sunday was an interesting one where it looked as though they were going to be defeated by the Minnesota Vikings who had a 24-10 lead in the second half. Then, they went up 31-24 before allowing the Vikings to send it to overtime.

It then appeared they would come up short in their comeback attempt with Lamar Jackson throwing a pick to Anthony Barr in overtime. But that was when the defense stepped up. The Ravens held Minnesota to one yard on a three-and-out and that was all they needed.

Lamar Jackson and the offense marched 72-yards down the field on 10 plays before setting Justin Tucker up with a field goal. That made it a 34-31 win which is the third time they have now won by a score or less. That includes the miraculous 19-17 win over the Lions when Tucker hit an NFL-record 66-yard field goal for the win.

Now, they’re all alone in first place in the AFC North and have a shot at the No. 1 seed overall, especially with Buffalo suffering an unexpected loss this weekend.

There are a couple of winnable games on the schedule before a huge stretch where they play Cleveland twice with a Pittsburgh showdown in between. That stretch could decide whether or not they run away with the division.
