Plays on Monday Night Football vs. San Francisco 49ers

This ended up being an eventful weekend for the Los Angeles Rams who ended up luring Odell Beckham, Jr. to their team — not long after trading for Von Miller. They were clearly gearing up for a run at the Lombardi Trophy, but then there was a speed bump hit on Saturday.

Wide receiver Robert Woods suffered a torn ACL which is a huge hit for their offense. Woods is a player who not only excels as a pass-catcher (45 receptions for 556 yards and four touchdowns thus far) but he’s also a huge weapon in the run game as a blocker.

Los Angeles would have loved to put OBJ on the same field as Woods and Cooper Kupp — who is putting together one of the best campaigns ever — but that won’t happen now. The good news is, they do at least have a replacement for Woods with Beckham, and they might be able to keep him happy with the extra targets that are sure to come his way.

The question is whether or not we will see him now in Week 10 as they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. There’s some hope for L.A. that this could happen and even if he’s simply a decoy in his debut, he could end up helping their offense stay on track.
