NFL star DK Metcalf traded during the 2022 NFL Draft?

Ever since the Russell Wilson blockbuster trade, fans have been wondering if the Seahawks are truly done making moves.

Dealing Wilson with no clear quarterback plan behind him (and still no plan there after free agency), Seattle could just be committing to a rebuild. If they are, moving on from D.K. Metcalf would make sense.

While Metcalf is one of the premier deep threats in the league, he is also almost through his rookie contract. Considering the receiver market blew up this offseason, Metcalf will likely want a mega-deal when he gets signed.

Allocating that much money to a receiver when you don’t have a stable quarterback is silly though, thus the Seahawks may just try to deal Metcalf instead.

If he were to be moved there would likely be a slew of teams willing to trade for him. Teams like the Packers, Eagles, and Chiefs could even be willing to part ways with a first-round pick to land a top receiver like Metcalf.

It would cost a lot of capital, but don’t be surprised to see Metcalf moved during the draft.
