NFL Power Rankings: Who stands at the top after Week 2?

28. Carolina Panthers (0-1)

The Carolina Panthers play on Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints.  Bryce Young is a rookie quarterback and is going to play like it.  I think Carolina is better than people think but if I was a betting man, I don’t think they win many games this year.  Frank Reich is an exceptional offensive mind and QB guru, so I think the Reich/Young tandem is going to work out for them.

27. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1)

The Pittsburgh Steelers got their butts handed to them in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.  I don’t think much of Kenny Pickett, but doesn’t it feel like the Steelers will start slow, only to heat up towards the end?  It’s the Mike Tomlin Special.

26. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2)

Folks, Brandon Staley is not a head coach in the NFL.  The Chargers are bad.  The defense is just bleh and the offense isn’t special.  It’s good, but not great.  An 0-2 start means LA would need to probably finish 10-5 if they wanted to make the playoffs in 2023.

25. Denver Broncos (0-2)

It pains me to rank my Denver Broncos this low, but man, this defense might be a bottom three unit.  Russell Wilson is on pace to throw 43 touchdowns on just nine interceptions this year.  The offense is visibly better and put up 33 points in Week 2, but the Broncos’ defense simply cannot let Sam Howell lead the Washington Commanders to score 35 points.  That just can’t happen.
