Making the Pro Bowl is an interesting recognition in today's NFL, as it does seem like certain players who get voted to a Pro Bowl team are skating by with name recognition only. With that said, there are still players that deserve to have a Pro Bowl nod and actually get it.

I'm sure quarterbacks across the league might rather prefer to be an All-Pro, MVP, and Super Bowl champion, but having a Pro Bowl season is largely worth celebrating, and there are a handful of QBs in the league right now who have never made a Pro Bowl team, but could do this for the first time in the 2026 season.

Let's dive into five QBs who could have a legitimate shot at making their first Pro Bowl this year.

Predicting QBs who could make their first Pro Bowl this year

Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

Bo Nix helped lead the Denver Broncos to the AFC's top seed in 2025 and a 14-3 regular season record, but he also had to deal with the second-most drops in the NFL last year. Broncos pass-catchers registered 43 drops, according to Pro Football Reference. Adding wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to the mix does take some pressure off the existing guys in the room, so there is every reason to believe that Nix's passing production could hit career-high marks in 2026.

Furthermore, Denver has a top-3 defense and the best offensive line in the league, so the infrastructure around Nix is indicative of a QB who could enjoy an insanely efficient campaign. Sure, some may argue that Nix is being 'carried' by the players around him, but he had to save the day for the Broncos a plethora of times last year.

Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans

This might be one of the more bold picks on this list, but Cam Ward, all things considered, had a solid rookie season for the Tennessee Titans. The Titans gave him new weapons this offseason in Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson, and also hired Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator.

Daboll helped oversee the development of Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, and even got Daniel Jones playing the best football of his life with the New York Giants back in 2022. Whatever Daboll does with young QBs work, and he does have the complete package in Ward.

The second-year QB is able to make all the throws all on the field and was the first overall pick for a reason. Ward breaking out in 2026 is on the table, and if it's successful enough, he could quickly find himself as a Pro Bowl passer.
