The Cleveland Browns are 5-2 entering a pivotal matchup in Pittsburgh against the Steelers in Week 8. The last thing they are thinking about is doing any "selling" before the NFL trade deadline, but wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is going to likely draw some interest.

The latest surrounding the Browns' willingness to trade Jeudy is that...they're not.

That doesn't mean things can't or won't change before November 10. The Browns have every reason to stay as competitive as possible right now. Sending Jeudy, even as limited as his role as been at times this year, would send an inherently negative message about the belief in a team that's 5-2 right now.

As we get closer to the November 10 deadline, there are at least a handful of teams that might be desperate enough to make the Browns the type of offer they won't want to refuse for Jeudy.

3 teams that need Jerry Jeudy at the 2026 NFL trade deadline

1. Los Angeles Rams

With Davante Adams currently dealing with an injury, and Puka Nacua dealing with a history of injuries, the Los Angeles Rams are a team many are expecting to be active in pursuit of wide receivers ahead of the trade deadline.

Matthew Stafford loves to attack downfield, and Jeudy is one of the best receivers in the NFL at getting open on longer developing routes.

He might not be as physical as the Rams typically like at the receiver position, but Jeudy could really help that team and would be a nice complementary option whenever both Adams and Nacua are healthy.

2. Kansas City Chiefs

After Tyquan Thornton went down with an injury, the need for the Chiefs to acquire a receiver ramped up significantly.

This was already a team that had been struggling with consistency at the receiver position for Patrick Mahomes, but Thornton had actually become someone he could rely on with his downfield throwing. That option is no longer available to Mahomes and the Chiefs this season after Thornton's gruesome injury a few weeks ago.

The Chiefs have been linked to a number of receivers from Brian Thomas Jr. to Josh Downs, and if they are that serious about getting some help at receiver, you'd have to think GM Brett Veach will be calling the Browns about Jeudy as well.

3. Washington Commanders

Entering Week 8 of the season with a 1-4-1 record, the Washington Commanders aren't exactly the team everyone is looking at as a potential "buyer" at the trade deadline. But with the Giants and Eagles using backup QBs and the Cowboys' defense as bad as it is, why would the Commanders not still view their own division as being wide open?

They lost Terry McLaurin to injury in their last game against the 49ers, and they already had questions at receiver before that.

The McLaurin injury borderline necessitates a move to upgrade at receiver, even though players like Treylon Burks and Antonio Williams will have expanded roles alongside veteran Stefon Diggs moving forward as well.
