Now that the bulk of Week 6 action is here, we're approaching, roughly, 35 percent completion of the 2026 regular season. Thus far, there have not been many legitimate surprises, but you can certainly find some here and there.

And while the playoffs is still months away, that doesn't mean we can't take a fun angle on the current playoff picture. Many of the teams that currently sit in a playoff spot are familiar faces, but there are some shocking teams as well

Let's power-rank the 14 teams that currently sit in a playoff spot approaching Week 6, and our criteria will be the same as we use for our league-wide power rankings - simply ranking the team as a whole and factoring in their body of work to date.

Power-ranking all 14 current playoff teams as Week 6 hits

14. Las Vegas Raiders, 3-2

The Las Vegas Raiders have lost two games in a row, losing in close fashion a few weeks ago and in blowout fashion last week. This team is trending in the wrong direction, and to be fair, they probably weren't supposed to already have three wins.

This team does appear to be well-coached, and Kirk Cousins has played well, but the ceiling with this team is quite low, and the Raiders totally dropping out of the playoff picture won't be a major shock.

13. New York Giants, 3-1-1

The New York Giants lost Jaxson Dart a few weeks ago, and I'd be comfortable putting them a lot higher if Dart was healthy. Jameis Winston is too erratic to be trusted for a bulk of a season, but the Giants do keep winning games.

If not for a bone-headed mistake by the Washington Commanders near the end of overtime, the G-Men would be 3-2. Still, though, John Harbaugh knows what he is doing and has his team playing some solid football.

In total, though, the roster isn't special, and the quarterback situation is less than ideal.
