With a month gone in the 2026 NFL Season, it's a good time to take a peek at the quarterback hierarchy across the league. We recently did this same exercise for the AFC, and it's now time to dive in for the NFC.
Playing QB in the NFL is the hardest thing to do in sports, and we have seen a good bit of both bad and good QB play this year. To the surprise of no one, the best performing QBs are on some of the best teams in the league, and that's going to hold true for the rest of the season, and perhaps the rest of time.
Let's dive into our latest NFC quarterback power rankings here.
Brock Purdy stands tall in latest NFC QB Power Rankings
16. Jalon Daniels, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With Baker Mayfield out with a dislocated thumb, it's the Jalon Daniels show for Tampa Bay, but I am not sure that's a good thing. Daniels looked predictably shaky in his first NFL regular season start. He's a rookie and has a virtually zero percent chance to play well in this current situation.
It's not his fault, it's just the nature of how things have gone for Tampa Bay this year. I am sure there is a chance Daniels could potentially develop into a high-end backup QB, but for now, he's last in our power rankings.
15. Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings
We should see Kyler Murray and the Minneosta Vikings continue to get better and better on offense as the season goes on, and if this defense continues playing well, the Vikings could turn out to be a juggernaut. Murray hasn't looked good so far this year, but he also already missed some time with a concussion.
Murray is a logical player who could shoot up these power rankings as the season progresses.
