The MVP race across the league is really only down to a very small handful of players, but we added a new section called "Honorable Mention" for this week, as there is still a bit of time for some major things to change down the stretch.

As we know, the MVP award is more of a 'best QB' award at this point, and it's likely going to be that in 2025, whether we like it or not. There have been two quarterbacks who have stood ahead of the rest for most of the season, and there is no reason to believe that they have fallen down our list as Week 14 ends.

Let's get into our updated MVP stepladder power rankings as Week 14 of the 2025 NFL Season comes to a close.

Updated NFL MVP Power Rankings as Week 14 comes to a close in 2025

Honorable Mentions: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos, Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, WR, Seattle Seahawks

It's highly unlikely that any of these players win the award, but I decided to add them nonetheless, as all three have done some amazing things this year. Bo Nix has been the most clutch QB in the NFL and has his Denver Broncos in the top seed in the AFC.

Myles Garrett's 2025 season may end up being the best defensive season ever, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is on pace for nearly 1,900 yards this year and could have an all-time great season.

4. Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are now 9-4 and still in rage to win the AFC East this year, but the Bills would probably have to win out and hope that the New England Patriots stumble a bit. Josh Allen is a household name in the NFL MVP race, and there is a solid chance he could win the award for the second year in a row if Buffalo wins out, earns the division title, and Allen himself plays well.
