The month of September has wrapped up for every team in the AFC, and there are three undefeated teams remaining in the AFC.
Two of them face off against each other in Week 4.
This season has already been an exhilarating rollercoaster ride, but a number of teams have been able to win all of their games through the first three weeks and will enter October riding a hot streak. How do each of the three undefeated AFC teams stack up against each other entering Week 4?

3. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders come in at #3 on this list, almost by default, but that isn't meant to diminish how well this team has played through the first three weeks of the season.
After finishing with the worst record in football last year, picking 1st overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, the expectations going into this season for the Raiders weren't exactly low, but more along the lines of non-existent.
Nobody expected much of anything from them with a rookie head coach, Kirk Cousins as a placeholder at QB, and a failed offseason trade of pass rusher Maxx Crosby. It's clear, at this point, that the Raiders were underestimated going into the season.
They are fresh off of a win against a high-powered New Orleans Saints offense (on the road), and they've already got decisive wins (8+ points) over both the Chargers and Dolphins.
Head coach Klint Kubiak is looking like a legitimate NFL Coach of the Year candidate. This team has been firing on all cylinders offensively without a true #1 receiver, and only one game from Brock Bowers so far. The Raiders are fun.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have bounced back impressively after a brutal 2025 season.
The addition of Kenneth Walker after his Super Bowl MVP run has been as good as anyone in Chiefs Kingdom could have possibly hoped for, but no good news for this team could possibly surpass the play early on of Patrick Mahomes.
Coming off such a significant knee injury, Mahomes came back in just 9 months and has looked as good as ever before. The Chiefs seemingly had some limits on their passing playbook in Week 1 against the Broncos, but after seeing how well Mahomes moved around in that dominating win at home over Denver, they have fully unleashed him against both the Colts and Dolphins.
Even though they haven't played "perfect" football, the Chiefs look like Super Bowl contenders through the first three games of the season.
1. Buffalo Bills
Through the first three weeks of the season, there isn't a clearer MVP candidate around the NFL than Josh Allen.
The Buffalo Bills shocked the entire NFL world not just by beating the Houston Texans in Week 1, but going on the road and scoring 36 points against that vaunted Houston defense. They followed that up by absolutely steamrolling the Detroit Lions in Week 2 on a short week.
Even though the Bills were sloppy (5 giveaways) against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, they were able to win the game by 8 points, which is proof that this team has built itself a significant margin for error.
It's going to be tough to beat the Bills all season long. Josh Allen already has 11 total touchdowns (5 passing, 6 rushing) in the first three games of the season.
