3. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are a really fun team. Caleb Williams played out of his mind in his first game back from his hamstring injury, and even Dennis Allen's defense has come to play this year. As of now, there isn't a lot that the Bears can't do, and thinking that this team can make a Super Bowl run is absolutely realistic.

The NFC North is deep, so the Bears do have some work to do, but they already feel better than their 11-6 season from 2025. As long as the current performance of the team holds, Chicago is going to be playing well into January, and perhaps further than that...

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars did lose in Week 6, but a close loss against a divisional team in London is really nothing to worry about too much. This is still one of the best teams in the sport, and they still have one of the best QBs in the league as well.

The one concern I have kept coming back to is the overall roster talent. This current regime is still only in year two, and no regime is going to remake a roster in their vision that quickly. We continue to see top-tier coaching by Liam Coen and his staff, which is great, but the lack of game-changing talent, compared to other top teams, could derail this season.

1. Denver Broncos

You might roll your eyes at me for having the Denver Broncos top in these power rankings with how bad the offense has looked, but they've managed to start 4-2 with the toughest schedule in the league thus far, and with the offense playing poorly.

Doesn't that also tell you just how good this team can truly be when the offense begins to turn it on? The unit has never looked this bad at any point in the Bo Nix era, so a return to normalcy/regression to the mean is coming, especially as the schedule softens up in the coming weeks.

The defense has really stepped up over the past two weeks, and the Broncos are still proving to be an elite team in late game situations.
