Week 5 of the 2026 NFL Season is about in the book, and we are now moving into the middle of October already. There were some fun finishes in Week 5, and Week 6 and beyond promises to bring the same.
There is also some notable movement in our quarterback power rankings, as we have our latest weekly rankings available here. As we have done, we're ranking based on the 2026 season alone, but also factoring in the most recent performance.
We are getting into a position where the body of work is getting big enough where we do not have to necessarily put more emphasis on the current week. Let's dive into our latest QB power rankings.
NFL Power Rankings: Updated QB rankings showing a lot of movement
32. Tyson Bagent, Chicago Bears
I actually do not think it’s wild to rank Tyson Bagent this low. He started the game for Chicago in Week 5, and he finished with a 27.4 passer rating. He went 12/21 for 87 yards and two interceptions. Case Keenum wasn’t much better, as he threw an interception and finished with a 52.1 passer rating.
The Bears enjoyed some encouraging play from both Bagent and Keenum in previous weeks, but they’re now back to desperately missing Caleb Williams, and Bagent’s performance knocks him down to the last spot in our QB power rankings.
31. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
Alright, so what are we doing here? Cam Ward might flat-out be bad, folks. The Tennessee Titans are 0-5 on the season, and Ward just did not do much at all to help his team win. It was an ugly showing for Ward and the Titans, and you really struggle to see when this team is able to win their first game.
We’re now at the point where you have to wonder if the Titans begin to tear it down a bit. I would not be shocked if they opened the phone lines and began to act as sellers with the trade deadline looming, and as for Ward, he’s playing himself out of a job with the Titans in 2027.
