2025 NFL mock draft: Entire first round mock draft predictions
5. Tennessee Titans: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
If the Tennessee Titans are picking 5th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, it’s likely going to be a result of Will Levis not working out at the position for them. Levis is super talented, and the Titans have done a lot to add talent around him, but it’s fair to wonder how this season is going to go with a rookie head coach and a wild card at the quarterback position.
If they are picking this high, they would be in the prime Shedeur Sanders range and I love the fit with Brian Callahan here. Sanders would be able to come in immediately and raise the floor at QB for the Titans, spreading the ball around to their (aging) playmakers at receiver.
6. Carolina Panthers: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
After working magic with Geno Smith in Seattle and Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay, new Panthers head coach Dave Canales is going to be tasked with getting 2023 1st overall pick Bryce Young back on track in Carolina. And although the Panthers aren’t devoid of talent, it looks like it’s going to be a bit of a lengthy reloading process.
The Panthers go after Michigan cornerback Will Johnson in this 2025 NFL mock draft scenario, landing arguably the best cornerback in the class and adding more talent to the roster. Johnson had seven interceptions in his first two seasons with the Wolverines and is an absolute ballhawk in the secondary.
