4. Gallup burns Eagles for 150+ yards, two long TDs

While Darby shutting down Cooper takes away the Dallas Cowboys’ leading receiver on the year, they aren’t without other options in terms of pass-catchers. Second-year wideout Michael Gallup has flashed big time already this season and has put forth a strong effort overall in the Cowboys revamped passing offense.

Despite missing two games due to injury, Gallup still is second on the Cowboys in receptions and receiving yards with 24 catches for 387 yards on the year, though he has only one touchdown. And with Cooper drawing the toughest matchup that the Eagles defense has to offer for much of the day, the Colorado State product is going to announce his presence in an emphatic manner.

Put simply, even with Jalen Mills returning for Philadelphia, the Eagles secondary remains a huge problem for this team. They have been giving up big plays seemingly regularly to opposing passing attacks and Darby is only one man. When you then factor in Gallup’s ability to attack down the field and garner big chunks of yardage on just one grab, he’s going to burn the Cowboys’ NFC East rivals in a big way.

Gallup already has two 100-yard and one 150-yard outing to his credit on the season. However, in a favorable matchup that plays to his strength, he’ll put forth his best game of the 2019 season in primetime. By the end of 60 minutes, the second-year receiver will have 150 yards receiving and two trips to the end zone, both coming on plays of 30+ yards.
