10 NFL head coaches under the most pressure in 2020
By Dan Parzych
10. Mike McCarthy, Dallas Cowboys
While it may seem unfair to have Mike McCarthy on this list since he is entering his first season as head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, this shows just how high expectations are for Jerry Jones and company.

Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe how last season turned out for the Cowboys since the team couldn’t even take advantage of the Philadelphia Eagles dealing with numerous injuries on both sides of the football, and watched the playoffs from home.
Without question, Dallas made the long and overdue decision to move on from Jason Garrett since the former head coach just didn’t seem to have what it takes to be a successful head coach, but also there are no guarantees with McCarthy either.
Keep in mind that part of the reasons behind McCarthy’s firing from the Green Bay Packers before the end of the 2018 season was due to the belief he was holding Aaron Rodgers back from playing on a higher level during his prime years at quarterback.
Looking at all of the talent that McCarthy will now get to work with in Dallas on offense led by Dak Prescott, the Cowboys head coach better hope he has learned from previous mistakes.
Otherwise, Dallas may look back, and regret their decision to hire McCarthy as their head coach.
