4. Miami Dolphins vs. Arizona Cardinals

Just behind the Bills and Seahawks sit the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals, respectively. So when these two teams match up in Week 9, they’ll be looking to either make up ground or keep pace in their divisions.

More from NFL Spin Zone

After a 1-3 start to the year, the Dolphins have reeled off three straight wins, putting them right in the mix in the AFC East. Their defense has played incredibly well as of late with the likes of Shaq Lawson, Emmanuel Ogbah and Byron Jones, all added in free agency this year, making plays and carrying this team. Meanwhile, rookie Tua Tagovailoa is now the starter, looking for a better Act 2 for the start of his NFL career.

The Cardinals boast the better offense of the two teams in this game as second-year quarterback Kyler Murray has taken his game to a new level early in his own career. After showing growing pains last year, he’s looked the part of a franchise player thus far.

Again, this matchup will be critical for both teams as they try to be serious players in their respective divisions. However, it’s interesting the position that each team is in overall. Miami has a relatively easy schedule the rest of the way out while the Cardinals have a tough road ahead. Both teams would love a victory but Arizona could probably use the cushion a bit more.
